On Saturday, still not quite recovered from the night before, we decided to finally get out of Stoke and go exploring. Someone recommended Hackney Wick and we went along with the suggestion, which I didn't regret at all!
We weren't quite sure what we are going to find, and where exactly we should go once we get out of the tube station, but that made it even more interesting.
So we found this cute place - great old tunes, all kinds of bbq meats and ice cold beers (plus canal views).
Then off we went for a walk...
Just around the corner we came across this building, slipped through it's small entrance and found ourselves in a brewery and pizza place.
Dog the Beggar. He kept walking to every single person eating pizza and begging for a slice, but I don't think anyone shared (pizza must of been too good)!
On the way back to the station we met another huge dog.
Aaand last shot of Hackney Wick before hopping on the tube!

Neighbourhood
We finally moved in to our new house in London, and I love it!
The weather's been amazing so far, I feel like on a holiday in some lazy seaside town. It is truly beautiful here.
And a few snaps from our new home...
I mainly have been exploring and enjoying what Stoke Newington has to offer, it seems like there's loads of lovely places to visit around here, however, I'm really looking forward to getting out to other parts of the city.
London, you're a babe in the sunshine!

The Cotswolds
Girls and I spent a weekend at Diana’s in
Cheltenham. We are doing this fun thing with a couple of old classmates – we
realized that we all ended up living in different cities around the UK, so we
meet up once in a while to talk about everything, reminisce about school, and
explore places (in this case, the beautiful Cotswolds).
On Saturday we spent whole day in the farm
with lots and lots of animals, which just reminded me of good old childhood
days spent at my grandparents’ farm.
We got to feed baby sheep and goats from
the bottle, had a tractor tour around the farm, and bought some fresh milk.
We all secretly wished we could stay and live there - it was certainly very refreshing to get out of the city to the
countryside!
Then off we went to another farm looking
for freshly laid eggs (as I was going to bake brownies later on for Airida’s 25th
birthday).
The house was old and cozy,
full of vintage knick-knacks, I’m sure my mum will appreciate the picture with
old horseshoes!
We got the eggs, some lovely honey, spices,
played with two friendly dogs, and finally left as we were getting peckish.
What does one eat when in Cotswolds? I
don’t know about other people, but I could eat scones for breakfast, lunch and
dinner (I didn’t, but I would).
We all agreed scones is an excellent idea,
so we headed to a little old pub for some cream tea.
Next day we woke up slightly hungover after
the little party we had, but got out of beds as we didn’t want to miss out on
seeing some more of the Cotswolds. I’m not even sure what’s this little village
called, but it was beautiful, peaceful and we were in the perfect location for
some charming views.
See you later beautiful Cotswolds!
