The Cotswolds

Girls and I spent a weekend at Diana’s in Cheltenham. We are doing this fun thing with a couple of old classmates – we realized that we all ended up living in different cities around the UK, so we meet up once in a while to talk about everything, reminisce about school, and explore places (in this case, the beautiful Cotswolds).

On Saturday we spent whole day in the farm with lots and lots of animals, which just reminded me of good old childhood days spent at my grandparents’ farm.
We got to feed baby sheep and goats from the bottle, had a tractor tour around the farm, and bought some fresh milk.
We all secretly wished we could stay and live there - it was certainly very refreshing to get out of the city to the countryside!

Then off we went to another farm looking for freshly laid eggs (as I was going to bake brownies later on for Airida’s 25th birthday).

The house was old and cozy, full of vintage knick-knacks, I’m sure my mum will appreciate the picture with old horseshoes!

We got the eggs, some lovely honey, spices, played with two friendly dogs, and finally left as we were getting peckish.

What does one eat when in Cotswolds? I don’t know about other people, but I could eat scones for breakfast, lunch and dinner (I didn’t, but I would).
We all agreed scones is an excellent idea, so we headed to a little old pub for some cream tea.

Next day we woke up slightly hungover after the little party we had, but got out of beds as we didn’t want to miss out on seeing some more of the Cotswolds. I’m not even sure what’s this little village called, but it was beautiful, peaceful and we were in the perfect location for some charming views.

After a pub lunch and THE best home made ice cream we all felt very happy and snoozy (just like these pups). It was time to head home...
See you later beautiful Cotswolds!

London Calling

Last few weeks I've been living in between Birmingham and London - most of my friends, sister, and now boyfriend too, lives in the capital, so Agne and I made the decision to get our butts out of Birmingham.

It's a bit like an adventure for us, we left our jobs (that we quite recently started) and started looking for a nice little place to move to. My sister will be joining us, so it'll be three musketeers living together once again.

Here's a quick photo update of what I managed to do and see while in between house viewings and all that jazz.

We went to Meat Mission in Hoxton Market a couple of times for some grub, their wings are so so SO good.

My local-to-be chippy.

Another local-to-be, lovely cafe with lots of knick-knacks to stare at.

After a long search and full diary of house viewings we have picked the house and are now just awaiting for the date of move.

Hello London!
